You'll have noticed...or not if you don't read my drivel...that I occasionally post about Maddox...you know the guy with the Best Page in the Universe...but the worst for new content...he posts about 6 or 8 times a YEAR.
Anyway, Maddox has been writing a book...I thought if he wrote like he posted my grandkids could get it for my retirement party...but oh no...it's almost here...June to be precise and the thing that shocked me the most is that it is currently number 2 on Amazon's best seller list...not too shabby.....
The book is called The Alphabet of Manliness and apparently this book is "So manly that even its sentences don't have periods." - Dan Berman.
Not sure I like the cover art though....that poor monkey.
Oh....it has a web site......

I used to read him but then he ripped off another site and doesn't post nearly enough.

It is amazing that he gets more traffic than some major corporations. I don't visit his site very often, and was directed there once when I was reading up on generating traffic for blog sites. It used his site as an example of a niche site, or more of a "what the heck happened here" example, because his site breaks all the rules for SEO.
I read one posting, and did not feel it was more entertaining than some of the other sites, so I never visited again. But, I still think he is either lucky or just very talented in achieving this kind of success.

"It is amazing that he gets more traffic than some major corporations."
This is such an idiotic comment, and Maddox boasted the same thing, comparig his site traffic to McDonald's. Here's the thing, idiots... companies like McDonald's make their money in physical locations, outlets, stores, etc. What normal people would spend their time clicking around on a McDonald's website for entertainment? For companies like McDonald's, a website is just a calling card or complementary base source of info. McDonald's business strategy is NOT website traffic. In fact, McDonald's probably sells 100 Big Macs for every Maddox visitor. I'm not knocking Maddox' site. I love it -- I'm a big fan and a pre-ordered his book. But it sickens me to see stupid clones repeating stupid things.
