I saw this cartoon on living Living Vegan today and liked it because it so neatly summarised the reasons why I became a vegetarian.....I am going to have to get out those vegan recipes soon.
I am a 30 something...okay...nearly 40 year old computer consultant. I am married with two dogs.
Yes of corse you can I do.

Yes, as long as you take the time to realize that the meat you are eating once had a life itself. The only time I can truly say it's wrong, is if you do it out of anger for other living beings.
If it came down between you and a bear.... the bear would kill you for food.

Not to be rude, but honestly speaking…, you guys don't make any sense... Animals suffer terribly on factory farms. Do you condone their suffering? Truth be told, you CANNOT say you love animals if you eat some, and despise others enough to kill them as mere 'food’ – this is called, Specieism; this is hypocrisy at its best.
Besides, NO animal gives his or her life up, willingly. Have you ever seen how the animals often try to escape, once they find themselves at the doors of the slaughterhouses? Many accounts of this has been witnesses, and miles of video footage proves this to be true. Fortunately for some, who DID manage to escape, are now fortunate enough to live their lives out to the full, on kindness Animal Farm Sanctuaries. Lucky THEM!
One more thing. Wild animals have no CHOICE but to kill for food (those who aren’t vegetarian). Are you a wild animal? I hope not! No, instead, God gave us humans (who are supposed to have HIGHER reasoning abilities) a HUGE variety of fruits, vegetables, seeds, nuts and grains from which to get our top nutrients. My husband, myself and our three dogs, are happy, healthy vegans! In fact, my husband and I are almost OVER-nutritioned (my own word), and have to now lose WEIGHT because we are getting in TOO many nutrients!
Look, if we can do it, so can you! The best of luck, in making the more compassionate (and wise) choice for yourself, the animals, and the environment. Kind Greetings.
